Cuisine Mediterranean
- One 14 ounce container super firm tofu, cut into medium-small cubes (You can also use extra firm tofu if you prefer a slightly softer texture!)
- 2 1/2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1/3 cup raw apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper chili flakes
Add all the ingredients except the tofu to a container and whisk with a fork until well combined.
Add the tofu, close the container, and gently flip it upside down and back a few times to evenly coat the tofu.
Let the tofu marinate overnight, especially if you're using super firm tofu. For extra firm tofu, a few hours will do, but overnight always delivers the best flavor!
Use this tangy vegan tofu feta to top salads, stuff into sandwiches or wraps, sprinkle over roasted veggies, or enjoy as a flavorful addition to Mediterranean bowls and appetizers!
