While this recipe is relatively simple to make, here are a few tips to ensure your dish turns out perfectly every time:

  2. Soak Adequately: Make sure each slice of bread is thoroughly soaked in the milk mixture to ensure even flavor and texture throughout the casserole. Take your time to let the bread absorb the liquid before baking.
  3. Experiment with Flavors: Don’t be afraid to get creative with the flavorings in you French toast casserole. Add a small splash of almond extract for a nutty twist, or sprinkle some coconut flakes on top for extra texture and flavor.
  4. Allow for Customization: One of the best things about this casserole is its versatility. Feel free to customize it according to your taste preferences or dietary needs. You can add cocoa powder for a slight chocolatey version or swirl in some peanut butter for a decadent treat.
  5. Serve with Love: To elevate your French toast casserole experience, serve it with a drizzle of warm maple syrup, a dusting of powdered sugar, and/or a dollop of vegan whipped cream. Fresh fruit or a sprinkle of cinnamon adds a refreshing touch.

So, why wait? Gather your ingredients, preheat your oven, and treat yourself to a slice of indulgence that’s as kind to the planet as it is to your taste buds. Happy baking!
