The SECRET to Make DELICIOUS Healthy Vegan Pudding
I make this vegan chocolate pudding with just TWO INGREDIENTS. It’s healthy, effortless, quick to make, and it tastes incredible. I know that this recipe sounds too good to be true, and that is why I am dedicating an entire post to it. If you have a sweet tooth but like to live a healthier lifestyle like myself, you will want to make this healthy vegan pudding ASAP. Trust me.
Yes, I make this healthy vegan pudding with just TWO INGREDIENTS!
Even though I make this pudding with only two ingredients, it tastes INCREDIBLE. I eat this for breakfast, for a snack, and dessert. Not all three every day (haha), but I do eat this several times a week because it’s THAT good!

YOGURT + CHOCOLATE PROTEIN POWDER = DELICIOUS HEALTHY PUDDING
Okay, okay.. HEAR ME OUT! If you’re rolling your eyes with disappointment because you thought I make the pudding with magic fairy dust and not yogurt and protein powder… HEAR. ME. OUT!
I use plain unsweetened plant-based yogurt as the base. Now you’re probably thinking, “Ew, that makes it even worse! She doesn’t even use… vanilla yogurt or something??” No! Because the chocolate protein powder is already sweetened and FULL of flavor, I do not need to use a flavored or sweetened yogurt. The protein powder I use and have used for a few years is by the brand Orgain. I always buy their creamy chocolate fudge flavor, and it is PHENOMENAL!
If you are unsure about using plain, unsweetened yogurt, let me put your mind at ease. You cannot taste the yogurt at all. The chocolate from the protein powder completely masks any sour tanginess the yogurt has. Yogurt seriously makes the perfect base for a healthy pudding.

But does this pudding ACTUALLY taste good???
YES! This is coming from someone who has a HUGE sweet tooth and extremely high food standards! With that being said, I have only made this pudding using Orgain’s creamy chocolate fudge protein powder, so I can’t vouch for this recipe if you use a different brand of protein powder that I’ve never tried. I genuinely love the way this specific protein powder tastes; therefore, the pudding tastes delicious to me too.
Just because I said this vegan chocolate pudding tastes delicious doesn’t mean this is the most fantastic tasting pudding in the world. Please remember I do make this recipe with only two (healthy) ingredients and not a bunch of sugar, fat, and chocolate. So if you make this recipe and are going into it thinking it’s going to taste like that famous store-bought ‘Snack Pack’ pudding, you will be disappointed.
However, this healthy vegan chocolate pudding is full of chocolate flavor and just sweet enough. It’s also perfectly thick and creamy. I love it not only because it’s incredibly delicious but also because it’s packed full of protein from both the protein powder and the yogurt. Plus, it contains tons of healthy probiotics! It’s a win-win-win recipe!

The different ways I like to top this healthy vegan chocolate pudding:
- Sliced strawberries or raspberries
- Sliced banana and chopped walnuts
- Drizzle of peanut butter
- By itself! It’s THAT good!
